Housing lottery | Queens will play 231 apartment with rent of $548

One Flushing has opened applications for affordable housing in one of the oldest neighborhoods in Queens — flushing. In a housing complex at 133-45 41st Avenue will be played on 231 apartment, including:

  • 60 studios,
  • 90 one-bedroom apartments
  • 56 one-bedroom,
  • 25 two-bedroom.

Priority will be given to Queens residents, in particular members of the housing communities.

Social housing would be distributed as follows:

  • 10 apartments for rent from $548 get citizens with a combined income of less than 40% of the average;
  • 56 apartments from $707 — those with income less than 50% of the average;
  • 51 apartments from $865 — holders income is less than 60% of the average;
  • 54 apartments in price from $1 049 will be granted to those whose income is equal to the average;
  • 60 apartments from $321 1 is designed for applicants with incomes that exceed 30% of the average.

Quota for persons with disabilities, citizens over 62 years and with problems of vision and hearing will be, respectively, 13, 66, and 5 apartments. Final rent will be set depending on the average local income (area median income-AMI).

It offers residents of the complex:

  • 24-hour support on all issues
  • Parking,
  • shopping area,
  • playgrounds,
  • Bicycle
  • areas,
  • the rooftop garden
  • Laundry,
  • medical assistance for the elderly,
  • the gym.

Applications will be accepted until August 28.

In order to participate in the housing lottery, register your nomination online or send the application by regular mail at the following address: One Flushing Owner LLC, PO Box #705, Knickerbocker Station, New York, NY 10002. After that, you will be contacted and invited for an interview.

The overall process of registration of documents will take 2 to 10 months.
