In downtown Los Angeles will be another residential skyscraper

On Friday the 73-story «Wilshire Grand» officially opened to the public, and on the same day, authorities in Los Angeles announced the construction of yet another skyscraper directly opposite on the other side of the street (755 S Figueroa Street).

The new skyscraper should be located immediately next to the shopping centre FIGAT7. The height of the new building is 64 floors, it will house 781 apartment and three commercial condo units. The project is being developed by Brookfield Properties, which owns FIGAT7 and surrounding spaces, including an office building Ernst & Young Plaza and 777 tower. The firm has updated FIGAT7 (formerly Seventh marketplace) in 2012, began a partnership with Target and other popular retailers.
