According to a new study of new York is among the richest areas of the United States

For anybody not a secret that new York is home to many millionaires and even billionaires who own very expensive property, which they modestly call home. But in what area of the city is concentrated the most money?

For many the answer will be unexpected. It’s not Midtown, where over the past few years there has been a lot of expensive luxurious skyscrapers. And it’s not the Upper East Side, which from the beginning of the XX century was the epicenter of money and wealth of the Golden age where captains of industry built their luxury apartments.

The richest area of new York were Tribeca, located near the world trade center, with an average adjusted gross income of $879 thousand. This is the conclusion reached by the publication Bloomberg, which regularly makes the list of the richest areas of the country.

Among the celebrities who have chosen the Tribeca, Robert de Niro, Mariah Carey, Kate Winslet, Anastasia, Paul Bettany, beyoncé, Daniel Craig, Leonardo DiCaprio, Scarlett Johansson, Meryl Streep, Uma Thurman.

But the name Robert de Niro stands out among the others. The area of the actor have many in common. Here is his Japanese restaurant «Nobu», which is so popular that it is never empty. The famous actor also belong to the «Tribeca Film Center» and a cinema «Tribeca Cinemas». Every year the festival attracts filmmakers and movie stars from around the world.

Development of the area has contributed to the John F. Kennedy Jr., who at 90 years often visited this part of the city, once again emphasizing its exclusivity. Here are a few of the buildings that have helped the district to be ranked: 111 Murray Street, 101 Warren Street, 30 Park Place and Barclay Street 100.

However, among all regions of the United States by Bloomberg of new York is only at # 5.
