Currently accepting applications for participation in the drawing of 121 apartments in a newly built house in Williamsburg (Brooklyn) at 420 Kent Avenue.

Proposed amenities: gym, lounge, Laundry, Concierge, washing machine and dryer. Near the complex routes: trains J, M, Z, bus — B62, B67, B32.

Renting studios in this building will cost $867 per month, one-bedroom apartment rented for $931 per month, and two for $1123 per month.

Smoking in building is prohibited.

Minimum income to participate in the drawing of the apartments in this complex is $31 680, preference will be given to the people of new York. A quota for people with disabilities — 7%, for residents of Brooklyn Community Board 1 — 50% for municipal employees — 5%.

It is expected that the building will be exempt under the 421a Tax Incentive program, which conducts New York Citu Department of Housing Preservation and Development.

The fee for submitting the application and the brokerage fee is not charged.

How to apply?

You can apply online or by mail, to do this go to: nyc.gov/housingconnect or send the envelope to the address: 420 KENT AVENUE, 260 Powers Street, Brooklyn NY 11211.

You can apply for the Russian language, in the administration of letters on the reverse side of the envelope write: English.

Please note that it is not necessary to simultaneously apply both online and by mail, is better to choose one convenient for you. Candidates submitting more than one entry may be disqualified.

When’s the deadline?

Your application for participation should be sent no later than may 29, 2019. Late entries will not participate in the lottery!

What happens after I apply?

If you win and you meet the requirements, you will have a meeting. This usually occurs in 2-10 months at the end of the deadline. For an interview you will be asked to bring necessary documents confirming family composition, the identity of each ee member and annual income. If everything goes smoothly, then you can become a proud landlord of apartments in the building at 420 Kent Avenue.
