Affordable housing in new York: apartments in Hell’s Kitchen for $714 per month

In Hell’s Kitchen opened a new housing lottery, which involves 13 apartments format SRO (single resident occupancy apartment room in an apartment building) in the building at 332 West 51st Street for $714 per month.

The essence of such a compact housing is that the tenants are renting only the room and the kitchenette and bathroom are shared on the floor. Flats available for single people who currently live in Manhattan Community Board 4, and income is the 60 percent of median income in area ($24,480 – $40,080). If you don’t mind sharing the bathroom with neighbors on the floor, this clause can be incredibly advantageous, given what a good place is a building.
