Rescuers from Beaumont city in Southeast Texas , found a trembling little one, who clung to his dead in the flood mother.

According to authorities, apparently, a woman attempted to take the child to a safe place, away from hurricane Harvey, but trapped.

As told by Associated Press captain brad Penisson of the fire and rescue Department beaumont, the car of the deceased were parked on a flooded Parking lot of an office center near interstate 10.

It happened yesterday, August 29, when Harvey hit the city with heavy rains and winds over 38 miles per hour.

«There was a witness who saw a woman with a daughter was going to sit in the car, but suddenly they picked up a powerful stream of water from the storm drains,» — said Penisson.

According to him, the girl clung to the body of the mother, when the police and rescue team in a boat reached them through a half-mile below . The woman tried to resuscitate, but to save her failed.

The fireman added that the girl was not injured and is in hospital Christus St. Elizabeth, while she will take the father in that day was not in town.
