In emergency situations people tend to show either the worst or the best. After hurricane Harvey Texas learned dozens of heroic stories where people were willing to sacrifice themselves for others. But faced staff and with the other side of the coin – looting and pillaging.

Resident Meyerwood Drive Houston, Michelle Poche is a certified paramedic. When the house began to arrive the water, she not only ensured the safety of their children, but decided to take care of the neighbors.

During the flood, Michelle contacted the son of Agnes, who lives with her to get his permission to get into the house through the window. Michelle Poche says he will never forget what I saw.

«She was under water, I immediately called 911, but it was too late.» A forensic examination confirmed that the death was caused by drowning, but that was not the worst.

«The house was robbed. Agnes was there, and they broke into my house and stole things,» continues Michelle.

As it turned out, at least in three houses on this street were frequented by thieves. The police are investigating.
