The people of new York believe that monuments to the Confederacy should stay — poll

According to the results of a survey conducted by Siena College, the majority of new Yorkers believes that monuments to the Confederacy should remain in their seats, according to DNAinfo.

The Siena poll showed that 52 % of adult new Yorkers are of the opinion that the monuments of the Confederacy should be left alone, 41 % of respondents said that they need to be dismantled, and 7% could not decide.
