This could see workers, who yesterday, 7 September, stumbled across a building site in Soho, Manhattan, on the human skull.
According to the New York Post, it happened at 11 Greene Street between Grand and Canal streets. There will be built seven-storey building.
In place immediately called the police and a forensic medical expert, who said that it is not «fresh» remains after the brutal murder, as some would suggest, but a historical find. As stated by the representatives of the 1st precinct of the NYPD, a forensic anthropologist believes that the skull – two centuries ago, somewhere between 1800-ies.
Some passers-by were shocked, though, it would seem that new York is ready for any findings, and its no surprise. But the workers remained calm. «I saw this skull, I will not say that I was scared,» said one of them.
