This morning, 11 September, Ground Zero in Lower Manhattan was filled with thousands of people who have come here to honor those who died during the 2001 attacks.

The people of new York and other cities and States brought flowers and pictures of their loved ones. Some say: do not believe that it has been 16 years.

39-year-old resident of new Jersey, James Taormina, lost in the tragedy of his younger brother, Dennis, who worked in one of the twin towers.

«I think it was yesterday,» he told the NY Post, James. «I woke up, there was a call from my mother, who said that the plane crashed into the building, and my brother was there.»

According to James, he never lost hope a few weeks, but then I saw the shots where the aircraft flew, and realized that Dennis was killed instantly.

Trump noted that the attack of 9/11 was even worse than the Japanese attack on pearl Harbor during the Second world war, since the attacks were directed at civilians. He swore it would never happen again.
«The terrorists thought that can cause fear and weaken our spirit,» said trump at a ceremony in the Pentagon. «But America will not be intimidated, and those who try, fall into the list of losers.»

The President added that when America is United, «no power on earth can divide».

Trump also expressed his sympathy to those whose loved ones were killed during the attacks. «We know you think every day about their relatives that have been kidnapped from your life. Today, the entire nation mourns with you.»
