Company Delta Air Lines paid a woman a whopping $ 4,000, so she refused his seat.

This happened in Atlanta on Friday, September 8. The flight was supposed to go to South Bend, Indiana, when the airline realized that they booked a flight more passengers than was possible. And most of these passengers were fans of the team of the University of Georgia, flying at a football match. None of them wanted to give up his seat, and, therefore, late for the game.

According to the Daily News, then the crew simply began to offer money for someone to fly later.

An impromptu auction started at $2200, then up to $2800 to $3000, — tweeted Zach Klein, sports Director of WSB-TV, who was on that flight.

When the crew reached the sum of 4 thousand dollars, the passenger Tracy Jarvis Smith, finally raised his hand.

Tracy later tweeted that he could not refuse this offer because of the 4 thousand is her lucky number.
In addition, flying on the next flight, she landed in Indiana in just eight hours later than was originally.
