Schoolyard bullies throwing rocks at the 7-year-old Jackson Bezzant of Idaho, calling him a monster and a freak, all because he looks different than the others.

Jackson wanted to wear to school the mask and even to kill himself, his parents say.

Jackson Bezzant suffers so-called syndrome of treacher Collins. This is a genetic disease, occurring in one child out of 50 thousand. The treacher Collins syndrome is characterized by gross defects of the facial part of the skull, absence of cheekbones, squint. The size of mouth, chin and ears are significantly smaller than normal. In addition, the boy has serious hearing loss, he wears hearing AIDS.

Of course, his family loves him and was shocked by the bullying. Jackson’s parents – divorced couple Kelly and Dan say that their son is a normal 7-year-old boy who likes to play football and throw Frisbee.

«When he was a kid, I didn’t notice looking at it, but then everything changed,» says The Washington Post Kelly Bezzant.

Simple taunts at school turned into bullying. «At first Jackson wanted to wear a mask, and then refused to go to school, and then began to talk about suicide,» cries Kelly.

She was heartbroken and called my ex-husband, saying he did not know what to do. Dan says he, too, felt the powerlessness, but then sat down at the computer and sent a post in Facebook.

«My heart is torn. This cute guy is my son, Jackson. It every day is called a monster and a freak at school. He is not even eight! He says he has no friends that everyone hates him. Children throw stones at him, pushing and saying all those awful words. Please stop for a moment and imagine that this is your son. Take the time to tell your children that there are people with special needs. Talk to them about compassion and love of neighbor,» wrote in the post, Dan.

And the message quickly went viral. Neighbors, friends and strangers from around the world responded with words of support Jackson.

One guy wrote that is familiar with the Hillcrest football team, and they would like to come to the school to Jackson, to dine with him.

Another woman said that her two sons are six and seven years old, wanted to be friends with Jackson.

Kelly Bezzant says that when one of the students of the same school, goes to Jackson, said he would play with him at any time, the face of her son lit up.

A few days later, tens of thousands of people from all over the world have written reviews for the post Dan, more than thirty letters to postcards came the family by regular mail.

«This post changed the life of Jackson for the better,» says Kelly. «His glittering eyes, he says: «Mom, everyone loves me».
The boy’s father hopes that their story will help others. «It’s not only about Jackson. This is a problem anymore. It’s everywhere. I want the story to my son read and explained to the children what compassion is».

Jackson’s parents do not claim that the difficulties their son behind. But now, they say, the boy really happy.
