Former football legend O. J. Simpson was released after nine years in prison.

In 2008, the footballer was convicted of armed robbery (he stole, as claimed by the athlete, he won trophies and sports awards from a dealer in Las Vegas) and sentenced to 33 years in prison with the possibility of parole.
