Hundreds of opponents of trump held a «March of truth» in new York

On Saturday hundreds of thirsty for the truth opponents of Donald trump held a protest in Lower Manhattan. The demonstrators demanded from the authorities an urgent independent investigations regarding an alleged Russian interference in the presidential election in 2016.

The protesters gathered at Foley Plaschadi to Express their civil position and listen to the speakers. Among the protesters was actor of the Broadway musical «Hamilton,» Javier muñoz, who played in front of a crowd of Patriotic songs.

After the rally on the square, a group of demonstrators headed towards Broadway — some of them were holding posters with inscriptions «Alternative facts is a lie» and «save our country».

A March in new York became one of the many protests that were held on Saturday across the country. A similar event had in Chicago, Washington, Los Angeles and 137 cities in the USA. Protesters from America also supported the inhabitants of the British capital.

Activists insist on the establishment of an independent non-partisan Commission, which would have conducted a full investigation and established a link between the administration of Donald trump and the government of the Russian Federation.

In the organization of the March was attended by community group Stand Up America, MoveOn, Women’s March, Indivisible, Public Citizen, Free Speech for People, Town Hall Project, the Oppstn, Swing Left, Common Cause, OurStates, Action Group Network, Flippable, Rock The Vote, Lawyers for Good Government, Working Families Party, Rise to Run and the Progressive Democrats of America.
