Desserts from the Swedish Bakery back in Chicago

Coffee shop m.henry in Andersonville hopes to bring the popular Swedish desserts from the Swedish Bakery .

Bakery Swedish Bakery was closed this February after 88 years of operation, incredibly upset many fans of delicious pastries. Now the coffee m.henry got in touch with the chief Baker Swedish Bakery, Alfonso Aquilarum, offering him a job in the institution at the address 5707 N. Clark St.

The bakery has been a family business of Aquilano. Father Alfonso worked in a bakery 16 years old, his mother is 15. Very Aquillano currently 63 years old, 36 of which he dedicated to the family business. Baker also worked in other places, such as La Baguette Bakery, so experience rife.

The owner of m.henry, Michael Murman, shared that when his café first started to bake their own bread, Mr Aquilar willing to help and share useful tips. So Mr. Murman with great pleasure invited him to their own kitchen.

At the new place Aquilar will be baking traditional Swedish desserts and their modified versions with a variety of toppings like mango, cherry, guava and BlackBerry.

The café is closed on Mondays, and this day is the only day off for m.henry. Already on Tuesday, the school opens its doors to visitors from 7 am to 22:30. At the weekend the cafe is open from 8 am to 3 PM.
