Specialist of the legal Department of CBS’s Haley Geftman-gold was fired due to comments she left on his page on Facebook about the incident of mass murder in Las Vegas, reports the Washington Post. Geftman-gold said that «she’s not very sympathetic, because the fans of country music often Republicans».
Recall, October 1 in Las Vegas were killed 58 people and more than 500 were injured when Stephen Paddock opened fire on the participants of the festival of country music.
Geftman-gold also expressed the opinion that she had no hope that «the Republicans ever do anything right.» She said she does not sympathize with the victims of the shooting, because the fans of country music are often «Republican oruzhenosets».
A representative of CBS said that Geftman-gold have already been dismissed, and added that her comments on Facebook are unacceptable.
«This man, who has worked with us for about a year, violated the standards of our company and no longer an employee of CBS. Her views, expressed in social networks, it is extremely unacceptable to all members of the CBS team. Our hearts are with the victims and the families of the victims of the shooting in Las Vegas,» wrote a representative of CBS in the email.
