A statue of a naked woman with a height of 45 feet and weighing 16 thousand pounds can set on the National Mall (the Avenue) in Washington. If activists give permission, the steel statue in one of the positions of yoga will stand near the Washington monument and near the White house for four months.
According to the Washington Post, the statue, depicting a «strong woman, confident in your body», will be the main attraction for the November festival «Catharsis on the Mall» – a kind of analogue of the «Burning Man», which is traditionally held in Nevada.
Mike Litterst, a representative of the national Park service, said that they consider submitted an application for the installation of the statue. Catharsis organizers want the lady stood there until March.
To transport the statues, called R-Evolution author Mark Cochrane will take up to 100 thousand dollars. Now the sculpture is stored in San Francisco.
