In Newark, state of new Jersey, the patrol was faced with the proof of this dog’s devotion.
A patrol from the area Totowa received a report that on interstate 280 in Newark are two dogs.
«For those of you not familiar with the area, believe me, Interstate 280 very crowded, especially during rush hour, so the police were very concerned for the safety of animals,» said page police new Jersey in Facebook.
When patrol arrived, they searched the area and found a German shepherdlaying next to a dead pit bull. She tried to get off the highway, but the shepherd resisted, not wanting to leave the deceased four-legged friend. In the end, it still managed to get harm’s way and to put in the car.
Patrol say no one of the dogs had no collar or other identifiers, allowing to set the owner, so they temporarily took it down to the station, while shepherd did not come from the local shelter for animals.
It is unknown what has died, a pit bull, and like dogs turned out on the highway, the investigation continues.
By the way, in the comments of a post in Facebook some residents have already expressed their desire to take the faithful shepherd himself.
