Canistherapy is a method of psychological and physical rehabilitation, the effectiveness of which is recognized worldwide. Communication with specially trained dogs facilitate social adaptation of children, positively affects the development of psychological and mental abilities and motivates them to learn.

These features four-legged psychologists decided to use in the new York city Department of education — in the framework of the Comfort Dog in 40 city schools will work animals, ready to delight students and teachers and to comfort them in difficult moments.
