We will remind, in August, the unrest that followed the rally of neo-Nazis in Charlottesville, Virginia (one of the organizers of the rally was Spencer), led to the death of 32-year-old girl; dozens of people were injured.

Now Spencer goes by various state universities, saying that he has the constitutional right to freedom of speech, reports Reuters.

Protests in Gainesville, for the most part, was peaceful, but still could not avoid fights, in which several people were injured, not life-threatening. Two people were arrested.

«I’m not leaving,» said Richard Spencer, during his speech. «We are stronger than you, and you all know it!»
In the crowd he had few supporters. So, about 15 white men raised their hands when asked Spencer, who considers himself ultra-right.

Representatives of educational institutions said that you didn’t invite Spencer, but the law had to allow this event.

«Despite our worst fears about violence, the University of Florida and the Gainesville community has shown the world that love conquers,» — said the President of the University of Kent Fuchs.
