I got married here on Cirlan, my children played here when they were little,» said the mayor. «And I always wanted it to be a safe, peaceful place for Brooklyn families. To make Prospect Park car-free means to improve the lives of millions of people who visit it and will be visiting for many years».
According to statistics, every year in Prospect Park rest from 8 to 10 million people, making it one of the busiest places in Brooklyn, reports ABC7.
