June — month of the LGBT community (Pride Month), and in new York, some activists decided to celebrate the event in an unusual way. Thomas Shim, Jack wells and Ezekiel Console launched a campaign called «Train Pride». Specially designed posters with the image of the rainbow flag LGBT people are on the trains of the new York subway and on the walls. On some trains under the flag of the United States had a flag of the LGBT community.
The creators of the art project say that the posters shall bear the following message to all new Yorkers: «No to bigotry, hatred and prejudice on this station.»
MTA does not allow placement of any unauthorized posters and graffiti on transport and in the underground, so workers will often remove them. But in social networks and then there are all the new pictures of rainbow signs.
The creators do not give up and plan to place posters on trains and subway stations throughout the month.
