A former adviser to trump confessed to making false statements to the FBI

A former political consultant of the head of state George Papadopoulos pleaded guilty to lying to FBI agents in the investigation of the relationship between campaign trump and Russia.

As reported by WABC-TV, Papadopoulos became the first person charged with criminal offences related to the activities of the headquarters of the trump and Russian representatives during last year’s presidential election.

30-year-old man faces up to five years in prison and a fine of 250 thousand dollars. His lawyer declined to comment.
