The Norwegian spruce will be the 86th Christmas tree, decorating the square for Christmas. It will come from State College (Pennsylvania). About it the press service of the Rockefeller center announced on Monday. The tree will be felled on Thursday, November 9, and taken to Rockefeller center on Saturday, November 11. Opening of the Christmas tree will be broadcast live on Wednesday, November 29. However, before the forest beauty will decorate with the help of nearly 50,000 multi-colored lights and a Swarovski star on top.

Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center will stand for this year until January 7, 2018.
