Last weekend on Governors Island was an incredible exhibition, the exhibits which were the lights of Jack. But these pumpkins were not decorated with spooky faces, which according to legends, are meant to ward off evil spirits on the eve of all saints Day, but real works of art, carefully carved by the best artists of the Big Apple.

Splendor glowing in the darkness of night pumpkins is beyond words. To create a soft glow, the artists used a method of relief carving, which allows the pumpkins to glow from within. For each such a beauty took more than 20 hours of work, but to admire all this splendor can be just once a year, on the eve of Halloween.

Classic monsters, Disney characters, celebrities (both living and dead) and comic book heroes winks at the audience by flashing lights of burning candles in them, along with a host of impressive surround installations made from several pumpkins.

If you suddenly are unable to get to Governors Island this weekend, do not worry. We plunged into Instagram and caught you the most beautiful pumpkin.
