Texas couple lost eight family members in the shooting (photo)

Police continued to identify victims during a mass shooting in Texas Church. It is already known that about half of victims – children. This was announced by the Wilson County Sheriff Joe Tackitt.

«The official death toll now 26 people, not counting the shooter Devin Kelly. 12-14 of the victims are minors.»

The tragedy was the largest mass shooting in the history of the state of Texas.

According to The Washington Post, Joe and Clarice Holcomb lost eight members of his family.

In the Church, killed their son, 60-year-old Brian, who was assistant pastor, his wife, 58-year-old Carl. In addition, was shot and killed a pregnant granddaughter crystal and her three children – Emily, Megan and Greg. Her husband along with two other children survived.

Lost Holcombe and grandson Mark Daniel, who was in the Church with a year-old daughter. Save the baby, too, failed.

Brian Holcomb just on that fateful day was a pastor who moved to another city. Kelly shot him when the man came up to the stand.

«We knew that he would be a preacher,» said The Washington Post, the victim’s father, Joe. «His first word was: God.»

Joe Kholkom says he doesn’t know how to cope with this tragedy, but they have not lost faith. «We are Christians, we read the Bible and know what will happen in the end. Our loved ones now in heaven, and they do it better than us here.»
