Schwarzenegger called on activists, advocating for the fight against global warming, to change approaches

Movie star and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger urged activists advocating for the fight against climate change, to pay more attention to the existing health hazards such as pollution of air and water.

Schwarzenegger spoke on Sunday at the International UN climate change conference in Bonn (Germany), where diplomats from around the world to discuss the implementation of the Paris climate agreement.

He said, «it is Time for us to Wake up and talk about what’s really important: 25,000 people die every day due to pollution.»

Schwarzenegger was also criticized by the environmental community because it’s «set point» with his message about global warming. He said, «Now people don’t focus so much on the 2 degree temperature increase or sea level rise».

The actor believes that much more effective to pay attention to the distant future and the immediate problems such as the increase in the number of cancer patients and children with asthma.
