20 States, 50 cities in the United States has undertaken to comply with the Paris climate agreement

The coalition, consisting of 50 cities, 20 States, dozens of companies and universities in the United States said Saturday that all its members intend to continue to fulfill the commitments of the Paris climate agreement, despite the statement of the President of trump at the beginning of this year that the United States will be released from the agreement.

«For the world it is important to know that the U.S. government may have come out of the Paris agreement, but the American people are loyal to their goals, and Washington can’t stop us,» said former new York mayor Michael Bloomberg at the climate conference in Bonn.

The coalition has called America’s Pledge («Promise of America»). Representatives of the group said they intend to continue to take measures to reduce carbon emissions and promote renewable energy. The coalition recognized that to fulfill the obligation without the adoption of specific Federal measures, is almost impossible.
