A young resident of Denbury, Connecticut, who saved her younger sister from choking. When the baby, who is only a month old, ceased to give life signs, her nine year old brother did not panic and called 911.

On Saturday evening the girl choked on her own vomit and stopped breathing. While the mother is in a panic trying to shake, the eldest son dialed the emergency number.
«I know you’re scared, but we need to know if the baby is breathing?», asked on the other end of the line.
«No, not breathing and does not emit any sounds,» said the caller. Operator Ashley Romano told the boy that the baby needs to turn to the side and explained how to clear her airway from liquid.
9-year-old hero heard translated into Portuguese and handed to the mother.
The fire Department Denbury confirmed that before the arrival of paramedics breath, the girls have recovered. The Agency publicly praised older brother, and Romano.
