Police dog (K9) from Florida was honored for saving his partner officer.

This was reported to the Sheriff’s Office palm beach.

«This heroic furry friend won the hearts of many,» wrote police on Twitter.

A dog named Casper was shot in the thigh, literally covering his body the officer, when the suspect opened fire on police officers who tried to detain him.

Recently Casper was awarded the Purple heart from the United States marshals.

Purple heart — an award established by George Washington. It is awarded to all American soldiers who died or injured as a result of enemy action.

We will remind, in San Francisco specifically the student earns to buy official police dogs bullet-proof vests.
