Jennifer Lipno and sandy Patch has a house over 345 thousand dollars in Jersey city, but they never lived there. They have no fixed abode.

The couple literally moved every week to a new apartment in new York. They live there for free, taking care of Pets while owners are absent.

«We are nomads», says sandy, the New York Post.

Their overall budget, given that the guy is a freelancer, is only $ 100 a week. According to Patch, for the last two years, he and Jennifer had managed to save up to 50 thousand dollars.

They met online, on OkCupid the website in January, 2015. At that time the Patch had already led a «nomadic» lifestyle, and Jennifer from Hoboken, new Jersey, decided to join the beloved. «I always thought that the apartment for me – a waste of space, because I work all the time outside,» says 32-year-old Jennifer Lipno.

In September 2015 the couple spent all their savings to take out a mortgage the old building in Jersey city, which they self-repaired.

When they can’t get free housing, they take the cheapest on Airbnb. The couple plan to pay the mortgage in 15 years and start to make a profit from home, and while they save.

«We slept everywhere – from tiny studios in Bushwick to 13-million dollar lofts,» adds Jennifer.

To live on 100 dollars a week, the couple received a discount from a friend, paid the annual membership fees for the rental Citi Bike. Now they ride bicycles, not spending money on the metro. About 75 dollars a week spent on food, but sometimes the couple spends less because it takes food out of trash cans near restaurants.

In the future Jennifer and sandy want to buy a van and travel the country. But while they remain in new York.

«Nowhere in America there is no place with such population density,» says Patch. «This creates many opportunities to re-use what people have».
