Weather in California: on change to abnormal heat will come bad weather

On holiday in California stood record-breaking heat wave, but next week autumn will come into its legal rights — after all, she was left to rule in the region only a few days.

Thick fog, which on Saturday dropped the southern district of the state, including Los Angeles, was a harbinger of bad weather.

Forecasters warned rainfall and gusty winds are expected in the southwest regions of the United States. In the districts of Los Angeles and Ventura, and Northern California, Oregon and Washington, the rain will begin Sunday and spoil the first day of the working week.

The storm will lead to a decrease in temperature, which is most noticeable in mountainous regions. According to forecasts from Accuweather, in the uplands precipitation will fall as wet snow: in most territories the height of cover does not exceed a few inches, however seats will be up to half ft.

The fog and sleet will create adverse conditions on highways. It should take into account motorists who are planning on Monday morning to return home after holiday travel. Due to the wet roads and low visibility, the national weather service encourages drivers to travel more slowly and not to stop on the highway unless absolutely necessary.
