This week almost all the American media disseminated information about the sudden death of a Texas toddler who died six days later after a gulp of sea water while relaxing with the family in the Texas City Dike. This phenomenon is called «dry drowning» and is so rare that many still have not heard about it.
After this incident, the parents of the deceased four-year old boy Frankie Delgado III put a lot of effort to prevent as many people about the existing danger, no longer lost your baby. And the result was not long in coming: after learning the news about «dry drowning», a two-year-old gio’s time appealed to the doctor, and because of this the boy was still alive.
Living in Colorado, father gio, Sergeant Heron VEGA, noticed that his son began to experience difficulty breathing, it is also weakly manifested symptoms of fever. After learning from his wife the tragic story of Frankie, the Sergeant immediately called for an ambulance.
The doctors were able to save the baby, but told Garono that without the intervention of physicians gio could die the next night.
The Sergeant felt the need to share my story with others and to thank parents Frankie. He called on television station KTRK-TV, which is owned by the ABC network, and said the following:
“I feel like I need to go to the parents of little Frankie and tell them I don’t know how to say it – that their little boy saved the life of our little boy”
He also added that if his wife doesn’t read the news about Frankie, they would have regarded as gio as an ordinary disease.
