San Jose opened the festive season, breaking the Guinness record ahead of new York

The festive season is open. But not every city in the United States can boast so many decorated Christmas trees collected in one place like San Jose. This city in California is not just ready for Christmas, there is the world «Christmas» record.

The annual festival of Christmas In the Park in San Jose is a storm of emotions. This year it takes place in the 38th time. That only is the venue! In the centre of town are decorated with lights and tinsel and hundreds of trees. But this year, the Christmas Park has outdone himself – a total of 600 trees. This record was officially entered in the Guinness Book of records. The previous record holder was new York. There in 2015 at the same time in the water place were collected 599 ornate Christmas trees.

Most of the trees in San Jose was donated to the city by businesses and individuals. They are completely different decorating style, size (from 5 to 8 feet), number of lights, but together it’s a true tale!
