When sedans were quantitatively superior to pickups, 88% of scientists gave a guarantee that the city will vote for Democrats. And Vice versa, where pick-up was dominated by residents with 82% probability, according to scientists, will vote for the Republicans.

The researchers also tracked the relationship between the brand, model and year of every car sold in the U.S. since 1990, with a particular social group. The study showed that Volkswagen and Aston Martin popping in «white» neighborhoods and African American neighborhoods are typical Chrysler, Buick and Oldsmobile.

The results of the analysis, scientists believe, will help politicians to save hundreds of thousands of dollars, by identifying in advance the territory of residence of their key constituencies, especially during the campaign, according to the principle «from door to door.»
