It is not yet Christmas, but the authorities in new York are already preparing for the New year. Giant light panels, consisting of two parts with a total number of the coming year – one of the most prominent traditional symbols of the New year in the Big Apple. And part of this composition is already installed on times square. On Wednesday, there appeared the gigantic figure «18». Scoreboard located between West 46th and 47th streets.
Immediately after installation, to loud applause and congratulations, was a short rehearsal the ignition lights mural in honor of the New year. Now everyone will be able to be photographed against the glittering lights of the numbers. The light panel will not leave his place until Friday, December 22.
Each figure is 7 feet tall. «Unit» is equipped with 72 sound 9-watt led light bulbs, «eight» – 180-th.
22 Dec to «18» will join the second part of the panel – «20». The design will be raised to her proper place and will go out before the New year.
