According to old tradition, United Airlines gives Christmas cheer to sick children. On Wednesday another group of young patients with special needs went to the North pole. The passengers arrived in Newark International airport medical centers, trinitas and Beth Israel.

Accompanied by Teddy bears, volunteers and cinema they went in flight, and 45 minutes later were in a magical land, where they waited for the bearded man Santa klus, elves, a sea of sweet and elegant tree.

Travelers from new York and new Jersey is not the first, who this year travelled to the North pole. Since the beginning of December in the residence of Santa already flew the flight of the Phoenix, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Honolulu and other major cities.

Specially trained comfort dogs at the airport helped the children to cope with anxiety before the flight.

Of course, in reality the aircraft is not airborne. United Airlines recognized that the aircraft simply drive up to another gate of the airport, where employees and volunteers create makeshift North pole.

«This is a wonderful practice — medicine for the soul. After all, our physical healing depends on emotional state,» — explained in an interview with ABC 7, the representative of the medical center named Beth Israel.
