Russian President Vladimir Putin called Donald Trump and thanked him for what the Central intelligence Agency (CIA) provided information about planned terrorist attacks in St. Petersburg.

As noted in a press-service of the Kremlin, the data transmitted by the CIA, helped to detain terrorists were preparing explosions in the Kazan Cathedral in Saint-Petersburg and in other public places of the city. Obtained from the CIA information was sufficient to search for and arrest of criminals.

Vladimir Putin assured Donald trump that the Russian intelligence services upon receipt of information relating to terrorist threats against the US and its citizens, will immediately transmit to its American colleagues in partner channels,» — stated in the message of the Kremlin.
