Passengers who use the subway lines E and M in new York until 31 December will have to find alternative routes.
MTA reroutes trains on one line and suspend the traffic on the other for repairs. As reported by NBC New York, on ways to carry out the replacement of the third rail, clean drains, carry out the replacement of some rails and check the signal wiring.
Changes in movement began today, December 26, from 5 a.m. and will last until 8 a.m. on December 31.
Here is how to do the trains E and M.
Line E:
- The trains will run along the F line between West Fourth Street and Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue.
- Only the E or E and M in Queens and Manhattan between West Fourth Street and Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue will be closed.
- The night watch will be closed also Queens Plaza.
Line M:
- Trains will be suspended all along the line from Broadway Junction in Brooklyn and 71st Avenue in Queens.
- But the M train shuttle between Metropolitan Avenue and Myrtle-Wyckoff avenues will follow the regular schedule.
