On highway 95 in California appeared fake road signs related to the fact that from 1 January 2018, the «Golden state» has officially become a state refuge.
Heading into the state from Nevada and Arizona, under the sign «Welcome to California» could be seen a sign that says: «Criminals, illegals and MS-13, welcome… the Democrats need the votes!».
At the moment it is unknown who is behind the placement of these signs. It is obvious that these people do not support the law by which California officially became a»state of refuge». According to the law, in the most densely populated state in the country the police have no right to ask people about their immigration status or cooperate with Federal immigration authorities in most cases. California is home to about 2.3 million illegal immigrants.
California is considered a progressive state in which the former candidate Hillary Clinton won the current President of Donald trump by a margin of 4.2 million votes in 2016. After the inauguration of the trump state lawmakers are trying to cope with a number of decisions of the presidential administration, which proves the signing of a law officially declaring California a «sanctuary».
