New York Cares

The headquarters of the New York Cares Coat Drive Warehouse will make clothes for the homeless until Friday, 5 January 2018. The warehouse is located at: 157 31st St., between Sixth and Seventh avenues. Donations are accepted from 9:30 to 16:30.

Care for the Homeless

The organization Care for the Homeless is currently accepting donations of hats, gloves, scarves and socks (only new socks). Things can be sent to the headquarters of the organization at the address: 30 East 33rd St., Fifth Floor, New York, NY 10016.

Jackets, coats and other upper garments will not be accepted due to the lack of storage space. Donations will be distributed to 8500 homeless in Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan and the Bronx.

Salvation Army

Salvation Army accepts several types of donations, including clothes and some household items. You can find the nearest point of reception (truck) donations on the web site of the organization.

Bowery Mission

The Bowery Mission accepts donations of clothing, blankets, towels and other goods at the address: 227 Bowery, between Staton and Rivington streets, from Monday to Saturday from 7 am to 7 PM. Taken exclusively new women’s clothing and new or gently used men’s clothing.

New York City Rescue Mission

New York City Rescue Mission accepts new and gently used (not damaged) clothes address: 90 Lafayette St., between Walker and White streets, daily. The mission provides food, shelter and services to homeless people.
