Los Angeles served the last Bat Signal to Adam West

«Bat-Signal» shines over Los Angeles in honor of the memory of actor Adam West, one of the most famous performers of the role of Batman.
Adam West died on June 9 at the age of 88 years.

The mayor of Los Angeles Eric Garcetti tweeted that the Bat signal will appear over city hall (200 N Spring St.) today, Thursday, at 21.00.

In the comics and movies about Batman Bat-signal is a glowing spotlight with a bat drawn on his glass. They light up the night sky to summon a hero to help.

In his tweet, Garcetti added the hashtag #BrightKnight. Batman is often called the Dark Knight, but the children of Adam West said that he was always positive, bright, a real «Bright knight».
