The city Council unanimously adopted a law to rename the square in front of the Russian Embassy in Washington in honor of the murdered opposition politician Boris Nemtsov.

Council members approved a bill to rename the territory between Davis and Edmunds in honor of the Russian politician and statesman who was shot 3 years ago.
