A dog’s life: 170 Yorkshire single family

A couple from San Diego, California, pleaded guilty to neglecting his responsibilities towards animals. They contain 170 Yorkshire Terriers and their mixes, the dogs were in deplorable condition. According to the authorities, Christine Calvert and Mark Vattimo faces probation, a psychological consultation and a ban on owning animals for a period of 10 years.

Investigators who visited the house of the accused in POWAY in January, I found dozens of dogs in a dark room. The floor and walls of the room were covered with excrement. Locked dogs there was hardly satisfied with life, they were tormented by fleas, fur was covered with mats, and some animals had health problems serious.

About 30 dogs were found later in another place, another 46 animals were in the camper, in the city of Primm, Nevada, where Calvert was arrested after fleeing from California.
