1. The American school shooting again. What happened?

Shortly before the start of lessons, 17-year-old Austin Rollins made a fire in one of the corridors of high school Great Mills (MD). From semi-automatic Glock pistol, purchased by his father, the teenager shot two students.

Soon there arrived the police officer on duty, and Rollins received a bullet which in a few hours died in hospital. If she belonged to the officer or Austin himself a shot is still unknown.

Digest I March 19-25 Week 18 q & a 16-year-old Jaylin Willie was shot in the head. When doctors pronounced him brain-dead, the girl was disconnected from life support apparatus. Late Thursday evening, she died surrounded by his family. Jaylin was the second child of nine in the family of Willy.

3. What was the motive?

Has not been established. The police believe that the shooting is not «a random act of violence.» It is known that until recently, and Jaylin Austin was in a relationship, and perhaps this fact added fuel to the fire.

5. What did the demonstrators?

Marching advocated that Congress legally has tightened control over firearms. On posters of demonstrators it was full of popular slogans like ‘Enough’ and ‘Never Again’.

Coming to the microphone, one of the survivors in the shooting at the Parkland – Emma Gonzalez stood for about 6 minutes, silently choking on tears. Six minutes and 20 seconds – the time it took Nicholas Cruz to kill 17 people and injure another 15.
