25% of the residents of American cities do not have access to high speed Internet

Almost a quarter (or rather 23,3%) of residents of U.S. cities do not have access to broadband (high-speed) Internet access, according to a new study conducted by IHS, Markit and Wireless Broadband Alliance. Of course, talking about the people of the province and did not have to, they still have to settle for slow speeds.

The number of residents without high-speed Internet access in the US are almost «in the foot» with Russia, the only difference is a few tenths.

The smallest number is not connected to fast Internet citizens in Germany (about 11%). Then comes the United Kingdom (13%), Japan (15%) and only 4-th place USA. The States are doing everything they can to make the Internet available to the whole urban population. Why there is a problem? Experts say that the main reason is the high cost of connection and a large number of urban residents with low income. The result is dramatic: in the age of technology and unlimited access to the Internet have only three out of four citizens in America.
