Joe Biden: «I am the most worthy candidate for President»

Former us Vice-President Joe Biden said that the decision to participate in the presidential race of 2020 will depend on whether his family to it.

Yesterday, December 3, 76-year-old Biden spoke at the University of Montana in Missoula as part of a tour dedicated to the memoir, «Promise me, dad,» about his older son Joseffa.

«I think I’m the most worthy candidate for President. The issues that we face in the country today, are the problems on which I worked my entire conscious life, — the plight of the middle class and foreign policy, Biden said to the audience. But we’re a family, as a whole, needs to decide whether we are ready [for this]».

According to the former Vice-President, even his opponents admit that he is well versed in the important issues for the country.

«I have two small grandchildren, who remains my son. They love and adore me and want me around. I want to take care of them, so we need to find out whether we, as a family, to do it,» Biden said, adding that the decision will take 1.5-2 months.

In the past two years, Biden openly fought with President Donald trump. During his speech, among its disadvantages, he called his age and the co-sponsorship of the bill on crimes in 1994, but stressed that it’s better than «the guy who can’t tell the truth.»

In his book, «Promise me, dad,» Biden describes in detail how the death of his eldest son Joseffa Beau Biden brought him to the presidential race of 2016.

Biden’s son was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2013. After successful completion of chemotherapy he had a relapse. In 2015 Beau Biden has died at 47 years old. He, like his father, engaged in public activities: he was attorney General of the state of Delaware, and was planning to run for Governor of the state.
