Christina Penton, boarded a Spirit Airlines flight with their two children, and got off the plane with three. During the flight from Fort Lauderdale to Phoenix woman gave birth to a son. The expectant mother safely went on a trip, because her child had to be born almost a month. But fate decreed otherwise — 15 minutes after takeoff, the woman began the fight.
Penton reported his condition to the flight attendant, after which the pilot deployed the aircraft in the direction of New Orleans. However, the baby was not going to wait for the landing — Christine’s water broke, and after 10 minutes she started to give birth.
Fortunately, on Board were a nurse and a pediatrician who helped the baby is safely born. Despite a few premature birth, the boy was completely healthy, and his weight and growth was normal.
After landing, the mother and baby were taken to medical center of Ochsner in Kenner, Louisiana.
«The crew of the Spirit were very attentive and took care of me during the flight,» says Penton, «In this terrible situation they did everything possible to help me».
