The idea to rename the village after trump came up with the founder of the charity Sulabh International to Bindeshwari Pataka.

As writes Associated Press, most of the villagers who attended the ceremony renaming, said do not know who trump is, but will gladly agree to live in the village with his name on it, if it helps to get a free toilet.

«Every morning we walked in the jungle or simply find a place where you could sit and do our business,» said a resident of the village Hasina. «New toilets – it’s certainly convenient and good.»

However, for the final rename would need the agreement of local officials, but they still don’t get them. Bindeshwar Pataka assured that will not throw the village and will achieve your goal.

He hopes that the attempt to rename will draw attention to the issue of improving sanitation across India.

Now about 60% of the population of India (1.25 billion) do not have toilets.
