A resident of Massachusetts, detained by police after she knocked heads men cap MAGA, can be deported, Immigration and customs enforcement (ICE).
Last week, a Brazilian citizen with Rosiane Santos was charged with disorderly conduct and battery after she attacked Brighton Turner, who came to the Casa Vallarta restaurant Falmouth in the cap «Make America Great Again» («let’s Make America great again»). The guy recorded the moment on video when a woman pulls with his hat.
Turner said that was just trying to eat, when Santos grabbed his hat with the slogan of the President of the trump.
«It’s just a hat, in the end,’ said Turner WBZ after the incident. — I really don’t understand why people are so angry with this slogan.»
The bartender geo Macario told 7News about what happened in the restaurant.
«Suddenly she stood up and tried to remove the cap. She approached the man, it seems, struck him, and someone called the police — said Macario. — They tried to take her out. When the woman came out, it was intended again to attack the man.»
In recognition of Santos, she was offended by the fact that the visitor is a Mexican restaurant wearing a hat MAGA.
But that was not the end. On Tuesday, 26 February, ICE agents took the woman into custody, having ascertained that she is in the country illegally. ICE representative John Mohan said that Santos «was released from custody after was the beginning of the deportation procedure».
Santos admitted 25 Boston that he is sorry for his actions, but claims that she was provoked.
In Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition, said that the interference with ICE is destroying the justice system.
«As you can see from the report, ICE arrests of people caught in such a situation, as Ms. Santos, have increased five times over the first two years of the Board of trump. This is a disturbing trend and bad news for our system of justice», — reads the statement of the coalition.
